Wishes for 2014

What a strange and straining year 2013 has been! Mostly, it has felt like an obstacle course. Starting beautifully with Peter’s and my marriage, what followed then however just ate away our mental, physical, and financial resources. We are both happy this year is over now!

So you see, I am really looking forward to 2014, because things can only get better! Here are some of my wishes for the upcoming year:

  • more happiness, confidence, and feeling of security in my life
  • more quality time with my hubby, my family, my friends, and myself
  • more health, well-being, and energy
  • more musical activities and inspiration

I hope you all have a good transition!

happy new year

  6. I can’t wait to see how you go about item #1 on your list. I have a bunch of books on happiness on my wish list but haven’t read any of them yet. I’d love less stress and anxiety!!!

    Happy new year!

    (P.s. that’s a beautiful music selection)

  7. Happy New Year, Kath! I still think about your amazing whirlwind marriage. It gives me hope that maybe someone is out there for me! xo

    • Thank you, Nicole! I’m still amazed how blessed I am with this! 2013 really was a difficult year for both Peter and me, but despite of it all there never was the slightest doubt about our relationship. I hope you’ll meet your person as well, better sooner than later! :) Happy 2014!

  8. I am glad 2013 is over too and can see why you are. I hope 2014 is far better for you and that you make progress with some of the issues that have been hard. Wishing you and peter much peace and joy

  9. Hi Kath! Happy New Year! I’ve missed you and missed reading your blog! Sorry to hear that 2013 had its straining moments. Since you’ve survived it all, you will only get stronger from it. May all of your wishes for 2014 come true, and I wish you and Peter much happiness and great health!

    • That’s so kind, Sharon! I think you’re right with what you said about getting stronger. Seen from that angle, I’ve learned a lot in 2013. :)

Hi Kath, I haven’t visited for a while, as I have been mostly MIA in 2013 myself, but I still want to wish you a happy new year and hopefully 2014 will be a wonderful year for you and your family :).

  14. A very happy new year, Kath! Let us get out there and seize the year!!

  15. I always wonder how people fare with their resolutions by mid February. I decided to, instead of resolutions, pick a word to key on: Focus. I think I’m doing OK, but maybe not as well as I should – I should be working instead of reading your blog!

No regrets, though. Hope 2014 is off to a good start for you.

  16. Missing your posts, hope you are well!
